Sense , Canadian premium band 

Sense was formed in May 2001 by Stéphane Desbiens (guitars, keyboards) and François Bérubé (acoustic guitar, voice) in the tradition of the progressive groups of the Seventies. Combining the power of the rock and the smoothness of folk music, the music of Sense is characterized by fast changes of rhythms and a nervous guita works. Sometimes pointing out formations like Yes and Genesis, it is especially the result of the many artistic experiments of its two pillars which are not with their first weapons. Supported by a solid musicians like drummer Dany (featuring) Robertson, bass player Mathieu Gosselin and flutist Sylvain Laberge, the duet was fixed as drank to carry out the music of which it dreamed, i.e. an original alloy their respective influences. The sound of Sense thus privileges the use of the 12 strings guitar , the harmonies vocal like Crosby, Stills and Nash, Rickenbaker bass, the sounds of mellotron. Ipso Facto which, strongly impressed by its know-how, did not hesitate to add it to its catalogue for a world distribution. The first album entitled Madness is released in 2002 after two years of work . This first test made it possible to establish the mark of trade of the group. This one is founded contrasts between the acoustic guitars and the dazing performances passing very close to the hard rock sometimes. Thus, the album obtained very good comments on magazines in France (Harmony, Big-bang, Highlands and Koid 9, in Belgium (ProgResiste), in the Netherlands and in Sweden. Two years later, Sense has come back with Out of Range, a more mature album which confirms the immense potential of its creators. Composed of 6 parts of which some exceed the 10 minutes, the new album is a step of giant for the group. Development by an impeccable production, the instrumental parts and vocal arrangements gained to be able about it of seduction. The personality of the formation continued and the influences, until there perceptible, are now much more subtle. Moreover, guests of prestige such as Brett Kull (Echolyn) and Fred Schendel (Glass Hammer) contributed to the recording of the album by services which will remain memorable. It is in May 2005 that the group launches the CD/DVD Stone in the sky, another steps Sense of Quebec-City.
